Launched in Spring 2025

From Y2K nostalgia to scalp-nourishing shampoos, glossy lip finishes, and do-it-all eye creams, here’s a look at the latest product launches worth your attention. These standout products launched in spring 2025 (March through May).

Skincare: 

Kelly Zhang Advanced Microbiome Eye Cream ($38)

This multi-tasking eye cream brightens, firms, and smooths the eye area while restoring skin’s microbiome health and soothing with a cooling metal tip. Key ingredients include fermented reishi, chaga, and lotus leaf. The eye cream is infused with the brand’s Advanced Microbiometic Complex and a natural retinol alternative.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Black Cherry Cleansing Balm ($69)

A cleanser with notes of black cherry and warm almond? Yes, please! This multi-tasking cleanser effortlessly melts away makeup, not moisture. Rose and mimosa waxes are blended with starflower, elderberry, and Optimega to leave the skin irresistibly soft, nourished, and glowing. The formula is now available in a decadent black cherry aromatic.

 Guinot Hydrazone Body Scrub ($48)

Great for gentle exfoliation, moisturizing body scrub’s key ingredients include hydrocyte liposomes, babassu oil, and exfoliating particles (jojoba wax, bamboo and cellulose).

AV Laboratories Luxury Face Mist ($88)

This lightweight Face Mist is designed to instantly boost hydration, reinforce the skin’s natural barrier, and provide long-lasting moisture. Use it as a pre-skincare prep step, a mid-day refresh, or a post-makeup finishing mist.

Peach and Lilly Pure Radiance Brightening Eye Cream ($43)

This all-in-one eye cream is designed to tighten, de-puff, brighten, and improve circulation.

Face Reality Skincare: The InvisiClea Hydrocolloid Spot Patches ($10)

These professional-grade hydrocolloid patches flatten and drain blemishes while protecting them from environmental stress. 

COSRX The Ceramide Skin Barrier Moisturizer ($23)

Designed to strengthen the skin barrier, restore balance, soothe, and deliver up to 200 hours of deep hydration, this lightweight formula melts into the skin without a greasy residue. Powered by innovative K-Gliding Technology, it layers seamlessly with actives like Vitamin C and Retinol.

Solaris Laboratories LED Lip Volume Pro ($125)

Using medical-grade red and infrared light to enhance circulation and hydrate the lips, this tool offers a quick, 10-minute, hands-free session to help plump your lips.

Toty Reversa Retinol ($89)

Founded by Sofía Vergara in 2023, Toty’s newest skincare formula is a micro-encapsulated, sustained-release retinol designed to calm skin, decrease fine lines, and help even skin tone.

Makeup:

SUBTL Beauty Lip Glaze Collection ($90)

I’m a fan of SUBTL Beauty for its stackable mix and match travel-friendly products. These stackable lip glosses are available in a collection of 5 shades ranging from Undone, a brownish, warm nude to Wild, a bright-orangey red. The formula is hydrating with a soft, subtle shine, without being sticky or tacky. It also comes with a handy, retractable lip brush key chain.

Valentino Beauty Puffer Gloss ($38)

Infused with Valentino’s exclusive Puffer Complex technology, Puffer Gloss delivers an extra plumped effect for fuller-looking lips while locking in hydration and moisture. The formula is designed to be  long-lasting, non-sticky, and shiny.  It also features hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and ceramides to help keep lips soft and supple.

Smashbox Pore Vanishing Primer ($34) 

Instantly erase the appearance of pores while locking in makeup for up to 12 hours with this new vegan and cruelty free primer formula.

Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Shine ($39)

This new liquid blush creates a refined, pearlescent, and vibrant cheek color and shine effect. Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Shine is formulated to play with the light to enhance the skin’s luminosity. It’s available in four vibrant, pearl-infused shades, for effects that span a subtle tint to rich color. 

 Overcompensating x Half Magic Collab ($65)

Amazon show Overcompensenting collaborated with Half Magic to launch a limited edition collab that includes Sparklestik Eye Crayon in shade Punk Pony, Face Gems, CHEEK FLUFF Soft Blur Blush in shade “Sexual Flushstration, and MAGIC DRIP Lip Gloss in Y2K Cherub. 

Benefit Glow La-La Velvet Gleam Highlighter ($38)

This new, silky-soft powder highlighter features a hybrid formula made with a combination of finely milled powders, oils, and gels for a weightless, silky-soft, velvet gleam. Sweep onto cheekbones or eyelids for an instant, high-sheen light reflecting finish. 

Lancôme Juicy Tubes Nostalgia campaign (Juicy Tubes are $25/each)

From May 15th through May 22nd, Lancôme strategically released exclusive videos with ten partners, including Ed Westwick, Hilary Duff, Gabrielle Union, Chad Michael Murray, and Kelly Rowland to tap into Y2K nostalgia. 

Hair:

Philip B Weightless Miracle Serum ($55+)

Launched in my favorite Philip B scent, Magnolia Flowers, is a new leave-in serum that moisturizes and refreshes while taming flyaways. I tried Weightless Miracle Serum and this product smells amazing and works like magic!

Keranique Strengthening Leave-In Conditioner, Radiant Repair Oil, and Botanical Hair Growth System ($30+)

The Leave-In Conditioner uses hyaluronic acid and red sea algae to help strengthen and moisturize. Radiant Repair Oil strengthens while encouraging growth. The Botanical Hair Growth System helps strengthen hair while promoting growth, shine, and body.

​​SH-RD Tea Tree Scalp Shampoo  ($32) and Thyme Intensive Shampoo $32

Taiwanese haircare brand SH-RD has launched two new shampoos, formulated to help soothe itchy, dandruff-prone scalps. Tea Treat Scalp Shampoo nourishes while helping with dandruff and itchiness. Thyme Intensive Shampoo also helps offer dandruff relief with special ingredient Zinc Pyrithione. 

Pureology Strength Cure Dream Healer Serum ($48)

This uberlight hair serum for damaged, color-treated hair helps restore hair’s strength while sealing split ends and infusing long-lasting shine and softness. This serum is specially formulated for damaged, color-treated hair, reducing breakage by 85% and providing up to 450⁰F heat protection.

L’Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Spectrum Collection ($36+)

According to  L’Oréal Professionnel, this new haircare collection can maintain day 1 color vibrancy for up to 100 days. The collection includes three shampoos, a conditioner, mask, and shine serum. It’s available on Amazon.

Makeup

Benefit The Mighty Fine Brow Pen ($28)

Launched in February, this superfine, triple-tip brow pen features 0.1mm brush tips (Benefit says these are the finest tips on the market.) It instantly fills in brows to mimic the look of natural hair for a full, defined brow look. The formula is designed to be 24-HR longwear formula that is sweatproof and waterproof, transfer-proof, and smudge proof. It's available in 8 shades. 

Make Up For Ever Super Boost Moisture-Boosting Skin Tint ($36) and Super Boosting Moisturizing and Plumping Lip Gloss ($26)

Super Boost Moisture-Boosting Skin Tint is a buildable, blendable complexion boosting tint that offers sheer-to-medium buildable coverage for a lightweight and radiant second skin finish. It's available in 18 shades.

Super Boosting Moisturizing and Plumping Lip Gloss instantly coats lips with a mirror-like shine, boosting optical volume with a comfortable and cooling effect. This product is available in 11 shades in pure and pearly finishes. Both products launched at the end of January.

MIXIK Skin Gumball Lips Collection ($22 each)

This K-Beauty Brand launched a new lip collection with three types of lip products:

  • Plumping Lip Ampoule ($22): For a fuller, juicier pout with intense hydration.

  • Juicy Lip Tint ($22): A burst of buildable color that leaves lips hydrated and can also be used as a blush.

  • Glossy Lip Serum ($22): A luxurious, non-sticky gloss that nourishes and shines.

Stila Spring Collection ($24+)

The Spring 2025 collection introduces formula and shade updates to the bestselling and award-winning Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick, shade extensions to the nourishing Heaven’s Dew Lip Oil, and a brand new matte liquid eyeshadow– Liqua-Play Eye Shadow

Skin and Body Care

Shani Darden Skin Care Rescue Serum ($68)

This Rescue Serum product is designed to brighten skin, calm redness, and nourish skin without clogging pores. It's made with a brightening 10% Azelaic Complex, soothing oat kernel and aloe extracts, licorice, and a hydrating blend of hyaluronic acid and panthenol. 

Ranavat Brightening Saffron Essence ($68)

Brightening Saffron Essence is a multi-functional, saffron-rich milk essence formulated with a proprietary Ayurvedic fermentation complex. It's formulated to help hydrate, brighten, and calm skin while improving the appearance of dark spots for a brighter complexion.

BeautyStat Vitamin C Collection Rebrand ($26+)

BeautyStat revealed a full re-brand at the beginning of February. The re-brand included new packaging, a new campaign, and, most importantly, an overhaul of the formula of their vitamin C products. Some of the ingredients featured in the new and improved formula are peptides, pomegranate sterols, and brightening agents.

Korres Black Pine Primus Youth Renewal Sleeping Facial ($68)

This night cream is formulated to plump up skin overnight to have you waking up with hydrated, bouncy skin.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Skin Protection Fluid SPF 50 ($70)

Enriched with Elemis' signature marine algae, Padina Pavonica, this SPF 50+ formula primes the skin, while being hydrating and moisturizing. This formula is designed to be lightweight and blends seamlessly into the skin under makeup without leaving a whitecast. Launched in February.

Saltair Multi-Lipid Body Butter ($20) 

Available in 5 signature Saltair flavors (Santal Bloom, Pink Beach, Golden Hour, Salt Water Vanilla & Exotic Pulp), this nourishing body butter is formulated with a multi-lipid blend of ceramides, essential fatty acids, phospholipids and phytosterols that restore dry skin. Coconut and sea buckthorn oils lock in moisture for a healthier looking skin barrier. While I haven't tried the new Multi-Lipid Body Butter yet, Saltair's Salt Water Vanilla products, including their deodorant and body wash are some of my favorite vanilla launches from the past few years. If you're a vanilla fan, I highly recommend the Salt Water Vanilla products I've tried so far, and personally use the Reviving Body Wash and Skincare Deodorant regularly in my daily routine. I can be sensitive to fragrance and find this scent delicious and non-irritating which is a big bonus.

Fresh Lotus Refining Toner ($42)

This is a gentle exfoliating nightly treatment toner is the latest addition to Fresh’s popular Lotus Collection. Fresh shares that it’s “clinically proven to visibly fade dark spots, tighten pores, and smooth skin texture, while respecting skin’s natural tone.” The effervescent liquid formula absorbs quickly and features a peach scent. To me, the scent also seemed to have notes of passion fruit and lychee, which I find lovely and refreshing. (I can be sensitive to fragrances and found this scent to be non-irritating.)

Nails

OPI’m Dreaming Collection ($11.99+)

OPI's spring collection is the OPI’m Dreaming Collection which features 12 shimmery pastel shades from soft pink to ice blue. The collection offers a soft, dreamy color palette available in Nail Lacquer, 12 in Infinite Shine, and 7 press-on sets in xPress/On.

Haircare

NatureLab Molecular Repair Mizu Hair Oil ($32)

Formulated with a carefully selected blend of nourishing natural oils, including jojoba oil, argan oil, and green tea seed oil, Kiseki Molecular Repair Mizu Hair Oil provides intense hydration. These oils not only moisturize but also protect against further damage, keeping hair looking healthy, sleek, and shiny.

Marco Pelusi Color Bodifying Shampoo ($32.99)

Celebrity colorist Marco Pelusi recently launched his new Color Bodifying Shampoo and it's one of my favorite launches of the year so far. I'm very picky about shampoos and love the coconut scent and how shiny this product makes my hair. (Marco Pelusi is a friend of Spa & Beauty Today. I genuinely love this new shampoo and only provide my personal review when I feel strongly about the quality of a product.)

Fragrance: 

Sabrina Carpenter Me Espresso ($59.99)

Inspired by her love for espresso and named after the hit single, Me Espresso blends rich cocoa powder and espresso bean with the sensual allure of night-blooming jasmine and vanilla orchid to capture the confidence, playfulness, and addictive charm that Sabrina brings to both her music and beauty routine.
